Really good base Challah Bread Pudding Recipe although I like mine less bread and more custardy. I doubled everything but the bread and used an old fashioned wide loaf pan... maximizing the custard. The rum sauce was also doubled flaming off each rum in single recipe parts) -- just make sure the brown sugar is dissolved before flaming and pour the rum gentle keeping it mostly surfaced and it flames more easily. This rum sauce is much easier than the ones with syrup and cream ... and it tastes like the rum (I used captain morgan's Spiced Rum Special Reserve in the dark rectangular bottle) and it came out very tasty! I served it with vanilla bean ice cream with more rum sauce on top... OUTSTANDING!

I am so happy that your family liked the stuffed cabbage. I love low calorie comfort food - you can be bad but good at the same time:)

Thank you,
Dina

Hi,

Those are Weight Watchers points listed. However, Weight Watchers changed their plan in January so I had to stop with the points since I no longer know how to calculate points with the new system. If you are back on Weight Watchers & have one of their devices, you can probably enter in the calories & fat & it may calculate for you?

Good luck, it is so frustrating but you will get back to yourself again...never give up:)

Dina,

After stepping on the scale to discover almost 10 pounds that hadn't been there before and finding out my cholesterol (sp?) is high, I am also making a SINCERE effort to eat healthier and lose the lbs.

I decided to go back to Weight Watchers because it has worked for me, and I just noticed that your recipes have points. Are those Weight Watchers points?

I really appreciate your recipes, and I always look forward to see how you modify traditionally high calorie, high fat recipes to make them healthier.

I know where I'm going to look when it comes to our Superbowl Party.

Thanks again,
Ingrid

I?m impressed, I have to say. Really rarely do I encounter a blog that?s both educative and entertaining, and let me inform you, you have hit the nail on the head. Your idea is excellent; the issue is one thing that not sufficient persons are talking intelligently about. I'm very glad that I stumbled throughout this in my search for something referring to this.
